Anonymous Proxy Servers
To hide IP address you can use proxy servers.
Not all of the proxy servers hide IP address. Also some of the proxy servers allows to the administrator of the internet resourse to find out your IP address.
You can check at http://www.tamos.com/bin/proxy.cgi if your proxy is anonymous or not (their replies are based on their tests). If you receive message Proxy server is detected! then your proxy will not hide IP addresses and you should select other proxy. If you receive message Proxy server is not detected then everything is OK!
It is better to change anonymous proxys at least once a month.
To use proxy with your Internet Explorer open Service->Browser Preferences->Connection. Then select your connection and press "Set Up" (I'm not sure about the names because my Internet Explorer has only russian menus).

To surf anonymously you also can use Anonymizer service.
